Christmas Eve 2025

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

by Johnny Marks;

Changes by Debra Milligan

You’ve heard all about

Dasher and Dancer

and Prancer and Vixen,

Comet and Cupid

and Donner and Blitzen.

But do you recall

The Most Famous Reindeer

OF ALL . . .

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,

He had a very shiny nose

And if you ever saw it,

You would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer

They used to laugh and call him names

They never let poor Rudy

Join in any reindeer games.

Then,

One foggy Christmas Eve,

The crow-eating Santa came to say:

“Rudolph,

With your nose so bright

(that I’d mocked with delight)

Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Oh,

how those hypocrite deer loved him!

They were all in on it,

the Insincerity,

As they shouted out,

The Whole Lot of Them,

With glee:

“Rudolph,

The Rosé-Nosed Reindeer:

You’ll go down in history!”

Rudy with his glow-nose

beamed as he raced

through the fog,

Smiling silently

because

He knew That Herd

of Hypocrites

would

go down,

While he made History!
